The community has specific requirements for boats to be allowed access within the gates of the marina.
There are 2 white sandy beaches (one is buoyed off in a no wake zone for those just wanting to relax and soak up sun!), day use boat docks, BBQs with grass and cabanas for picknicking, even phones and public restrooms. so good old global water is trying to get another rate hike out of us. ive already posted my thoughts on this on the arizona corporation commission website. global water is coming down at the end of the month to put on a show for the ACC, you know = to show the ACC how they really care. well i can go on and on about the reasons they dont deserve any kind of increase but that would be a waist of time. we all know why. what i want to get out to every one, and i mean every one, is = UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANY ONE GO TO THIS MEETING, AND I MEAN NO BODY GO. you all know that all there going to do is go on and on about the great improvements they have done and are going to do. all i need to do is go out to my laundry room and look at the spa, yes i said spa, filter. its dark brown after 3 weeks. that tells me all i need to know. i know if nobody goes to this meeting it will upset them like theres no tomorrow. they wont be able to figure it out, plus it would of been a waste of there time. after all they wasted our time at the first meeting. this meeting they want is nothing more than a show for the arizona corporation commission and nothing more. i know that every one here knows exactly what global waters number priority is = MONEY, and how can they get more of it. if there was a way for all the local residents here to be notified that it would be in there best interest to avoid any meetings put on by global, well that would be the best thing to do. it would be like the kid who every one hates putting on a party and no body showing up. i know if i called for a meeting to explain why i wanted more money than i deserve and no one showed up id be worried. if nothing else just send a copy of this suggestion to every one to at least give them another prospective, mine, and i think many others.
Appreciate the comment, Paul. Willow Valley is definitely known for its water challenges. I would advise anyone with property in WV to invest in a water filtration system. The property we owned there had an Omni filter which helped a lot for a relatively small amount of money.
It’s always good for the residents of a community to care and speak out when they see conditions that need to be addressed.
